Participation in the preparation of the sectoral development plans of the production sectors in collaboration with the relevant Ministries and Government units.

Monitoring and evaluation of the performance of the sectoral Development Plans.

Study development budget estimates, and allowing for changes revision and adjustment made by the different Ministries and Governments units during the plan period.

Conducting economic studies and researches on issues related to the Production sector to help in the decision making process.

Supervision of the studies undertaken by consultancy Companies with respect to production sector. This involves defining their terms of reference, and contributing to their evaluations in collaboration with the relevant Ministries and Government Units.

Represent the Ministry in the relevant workshops, conferences, boards, committees and taskforces.
